Hi everyone

happy to report that we have another nice GraphDB Neo4j community event planned. We are going to do two presentations: one general update about all things Neo4j, and then a nice case study by the Sportpaleis Group. More info and agenda below.

Agenda:
18u: doors open drinks
18h30: intro presentation, updated wrt latest Neo4j announcements, version 4.0, Neo4j Aura, and more
19h15: pizzah!
19h30: case study presentation by Sportpaleis Groep & Python Predictions
20u15: Q&A / wrap-up
20u30-21u: drinks and closing

Here’s some more info on the presentation of the Sportpaleis & Python Predictions team Case study: if you have ever visited a concert or event recently, you have probably heard of the risk of paying stupid amounts of money – much more than the advertised prices – for a concert of your favourite band. Most of us have probably never had a real problem with it, but it’s still a problem for the music and entertainment sector – something they take very seriously. In Belgium, Tele Ticket Service (part of the Sportpaleis Group) are leading the way to prevent and fight ticket fraud. Together with Python Predictions, they have built a Neo4j based system to do this – and they are going to explain their approach to our community in this meetup.

Looking forward to meeting many of you at the event!

Rik
