“Joint European efforts to mitigate climate change through the Copernicus program” Cristian Bulumac (Policy Advisor, The Greens @European Commission) will present the Copernicus program: a data centered project that aims at improving climate modelling.

” How can AI help us increase cooperation to avoid the consequences of the climate change ” – Elias Fernandez Domingos (PhD candidate @VUB AI Lab) will first discuss how academics foresee to use AI to mitigate climate change. In the second part of his talk, Elias will show how AI can be used to model human behaviour ,and more specifically the role of human cooperation, in anthropogenic climate change problem.
